Title: Stanley Esau: Locating birth records in St Helena
Post by: DebbieIsaacs65 on Thursday 28 September 17 15:51 BST (UK)
I am a South African and am trying to obtain a copy of my grandfather, Stanley Esau (born in St Helena in 1915 and died in South Africa in November 1943).  He was a fireman on the De La Salle which was torpedoed in 1943.

There doesn't seem to be much available online.

Try the "customer relations" email here, perhaps they can tell you where to go:

Thanks very much but I have uncovered all that information. My challenge has been to locate / contact an organisartion that can assist me with obtaining a copy of his birth certificate.  I have sent an email off to the St Helena Archives and hoping for a response.  Thanks again and much appreciated
