Hello,
I recently moved to Scotland from Canada for school and I have taken an interest in my family history on my Mom's side. I was wondering if anyone could tell me any information or give me any advice onhow I could find out more information about my great great grandpa Albert Edward Shiner from Dorset?

Name: Mother's Maiden Surname:
SHINER, ALBERT EDWARD JAMES Order
GRO Reference: 1871 S Quarter in DORCHESTER Volume 05A Page 341
From GRO Index: https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp

If this is Albert then the family can be found in the census.

do not know how old your request is, but you are asking about my grandfather, we are obviously related.
Your grandfather must be my Uncle Stephen

Hi, geepsgb,
Channy1157 posted this just over 3 years ago, but never returned to the boards to follow up on the request.
There is the possibility that they may be notified of your posts, so keep your fingers crossed.

Just for information, Albert E Shiner from Dorset is in more than 25 trees on Ancestry. One tree gives him 6 children born in Canada.
