Title: Help with Kate Harrison 1880s or 90s NZ

Hello,
 I have been fortunate enough to come across a picture of my 2xgreat grandmother Kate Harrison - but it is a photocopy of perhaps a photocopy. I wonder if anyone is able to restore it please (and if anyone is a talented colourist a touch of colour would be nice too!)

Sorry, not a lot I can do. There are very few shades of grey in the image, just black and white, so there is no detail left to tease out of those shadows. Actually it resembles a typical scene from an ordinary quality graphic novel (adventure comic book). If only you had access to a good quality image I think it would make a great picture.
Anyway, I’ve straightened it up a bit and got rid of a few spots.

It is a real pity I haven't been able to find an original for this in order to bring out all that detail...
