Hi KH

There is a list of cemeteries here

https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/advice-and-benefits/deaths-funerals-and-cremations/cornwall-council-cemeteries/

and crematorium here

https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/advice-and-benefits/deaths-funerals-and-cremations/penmount-crematorium/

If you don't have an actual date of death, the local authority may not be able or willing to help.

I don't know how 'computerised' their recent records are.

I can check the death index from 2007 at the archives next week if you want to pm the full name and date of birth.

I did have a look at the probate calendars but couldn't see an obvious entry

The person at the 192 address was apparently still alive in February this year (planning objection)
You could perhaps try writing a letter

Thank you. Perhaps I am barking up the wrong tree. It would have to be a feisty 95 year old to be taking on council.

Your person (if it is the one you mean!) seems to have travelled on the Reina Del Mar to Peru in 1957.
Intending to reside in Peru (permanent/for more than twelve months)

The question is, did they return?
John
