I have seen this heading somewhere before but can't find the connection
I am, all of a sudden, not getting replies to my emails , I have checked on my profile and all seems OK, this is only since yesterday

I hadn't been on here for some months and when I came back I found I wasn't getting any notifications. I contacted Sarah (one of the mods and co-founder of the site) and she said
"It looked like you clicked on the unsubscribe button via a old email notification, only admin can change this option once you click on this".
Maybe you accidentally did the same thing, so I suggest you contact a mod who can fix it for you.

Have you checked they haven't gone into your spam box by mistake, that happened to mine once for no reason?

No Dawn, we have checked all of our passwords, haven't had an email for Garkins since 09.45 this morning which is unusual

Are you referring to replies to your general emails or notifications, etc from Rootschat? This seems to have been interpreted different ways by different respondents.

The only way to get replies is to go back into each one and see what the replies are, my last reply yesterday was from the person dealing with Mercer/ Buzzacott
A lot of us don't bother with emails. All you need to do is click on 'new replies' top left of the page. This shows you all new replies to your postings since you last looked.
Far easier than relying on emails :)

I had a similar problem recently and reported it to my internet provider and asked Sarah to check. Sarah gave me bounce back details which I passed on. It took a few hours but soon back to normal.
Seems to happen every now and then with my provider (TalkTalk)... ::)

I am with BT, everything was Ok yesterday, it is only RC affected

Hi Louisa,
Yes it looks like you clicked on the unsubscribe button via a old email notification on the 4th October, this stops all RootsChat email notifications permanently. I have now added you back into the email notifications again.
