Hi thank you for your replies, I have the death certificate which stated an inquest was held and a verdict of accidental death was recorded. My Mum thinks there was some argument about their faith, the family belonged to the Catholic church, but somewhere along the line became Prodestant, do you know what churches are around the area, I could check? .

Hi, thanks for the reply, his father, David and mother, Mary Ann, were both buried at St John's church in Irlam, they were also married there, I really thought Thomas would have as well, best wishes, Jean.
