Could anyone look up the cause of death for Carrie please.
Reg in the March 1/4 of 1893, Totnes 5b 130.
She was 20 years old, and is buried with her grand parents in St Mary's, Brixham.
Many thanks.

I am afraid the only way is to purchase the death certificate, the details are not accessible on line.

Ok. Thank you. :'(

Fortuitously I happened to notice a post on facebook advertising PDF certificates from the GRO at a cost of £6. This is an extension of previous trials and the offer is expected to run for about 3 months.
The PDF will only show on my account for 3 months, and I am not sure if I will get notification when I can see it, or if I will be able to print it out to keep.
However, I have made an order, and will now await developments. Apparently I should receive the information in about 5 days.
Importantly: I had found the reference number using freebmd, (as in original post,) and entered that information in the search boxes to make my order. No results found!! Gradually removing information from the boxes, and finally saying I had no reference number revealed that the necessary reference was slightly different. i.e. 05b 131, not as recorded on freebmd.
