Title: Seeking help re Elizabeth Neasham/Hoult/Reed/Todd
Post by: a chesters on Saturday 14 October 17 03:51 BST (UK)
I am trying to find out more about Elizabeth Neasham (Neesham).

I have her baptism on 27 Jan 1792 at Scarborough, Yorkshire.

On 20 July 1812, she married Thomas Hoult at All Saints, Newcastle on Tyne.

Thomas was killed in the Wallsend Colliery Disaster 23 Oct 1821

On 27 Jan 1827, she married Robert Reed, also at All Saints, Newcastle. I have her on the 1841 census, aged 50, without Robert, HO107/826/Bk7/10/13.
In the 1851 census she is a widow, aged 60. Ho107/2408/99/27

I have been unable so far, to locate Roberts death, or his birth.

In the 1871 census, I have her as Elizabeth Todd, a widow, aged 79, with her son in law, Samuel Bewick. This was at Longbenton, Northumberland. RG10/5123/73/32

I have family documentation, of unverified proof, that she married a Thomas? Todd. Just when, and where I simply cannot discover.

I am at the stage of going round in circles, so am asking those with fresh ideas for assistance in sorting things out.

Any assistance will be very gratefully accepted.

Elizabeth Todd, 68, Head, Widow, no occp, born Scarborough, Yorkshire
George Hoult, 15, Grandson, Cooper, born Heworth, Durham

FreeREG has a Robert REED burial 14 Aug 1848 Newcastle age 60, possible?
