Hi, Jane was the daughter of William and Esther from what i have worked out, Esther being born as Esther Heywood.
I might have to pay and see what 'Deceased online' has in regards to Janes location and then i can make contact with either the church or local council and see if i can get a photo, now that would be great.

Yes the soldier that was the heir to jane's will was John William Longworth who today is buried at Fleetwood and he died in 1946, the grave is one of my families, John William being my great grandfather and he is with other family such as my grandmother.
The Longworths seem to have a very long connection to the Horrocks fold, sharples and in fact most of the Bolton area really.
Lots of gaps to fill in , just need to find janes grave now, its going to be interesting to see if there is anything to see at all, her estate she left was worth a lot of money.
Very interesting.

Trish, thank you so much for this information, just amazing with so much detail and it also helps with a road block i had ie Eliza Berry, she was born Eliza Farnworth and married John Longworth (janes brother) in 1864 and they had a son ( john william longworth )and a few years after his death she married a Richard Bury and apart from a couple of records i could find under the name Bury i could not find what happend to her, i did suspect that the last name of Bury might end up as something slightly different such as Berry but this now confirms it, all the dates are right also wit what i alreadt knew.
John william longworths father died a few months before he was born and with the other family members gone he really only had his mother and aunt until he entered the army.
Thanks again for this, fantastic.
yours gratefully.

Just had to say well done to trish58!  It's wonderful when so many details can be gleaned from a headstone.
