Title: Problem with downloading &/or opening JPGS

I have just discovered I can't download jpgs or open any already on my comp & would be grateful for any help please.

I don't know what info. is needed regarding system etc. but I didn't have this problem 1 week ago.

Using Vista, Office 2003 & Google Chrome if that helps?

I can open the ones already on my comp by using 'Paint' & I can copy images to Publisher & then save as a jpeg  ::)

When I click to open a jpeg nothing happens  ???

Right click on a picture and select     Open With ... Choose Default Program  ...Windows Photo Gallery.

See if that works...

Ooops...I didn't choose 'Windows Photo Gallery' I had only chosen Default Program then clicked ok  :-[

Yes.... some updates etc can change the Default for photos etc.

At least it is sorted now! (and my memory still works ok,  ;D  )

I'm not sure what's happened but prior to not being able to open the jpgs I used to have problems with pdfs yet now I can open them  :-\
