Hi, I am trying to find William Blackwell's parents and hoping to be able to go back further. I have little information in regards to William Blackwell he died in Greytown, New Zealand in 1860. His death certificate has practically no info on it. I have calculated an estimated dob from his death certificate. His marriage certificate states he married Caroline Major in 1856 Paddington, Middlesex and William's father is John (assuming his surname would be Blackwell). I have a lot of info on William's and Caroline's children. However I am trying to go back to William's birth/baptism, his parents (and siblings if possible) and further back on the Blackwell family if possible
Thanks

William's occupation on the marriage cert is 'Carman' (In one of his child's records he was a 'Carter'), the address is Church Place (marriage is in parish of Paddington), witnesses are difficult to read - could be Fleur Spearson and Emma ? (surname could be Mazey).

Witnesses to the marriage at Henry Pearson and Emma Mazey, both Caroline and Emma made their marks.
Caroline was living on Harrow Road.

Could they have lived together before marrying?
1851 Census

Yes they were living together before they were married. I have all the info of Caroline nee Major his wife and his children born in England and New Zealand. However I'm trying to find info before William got married eg. his birth/baptism, where did he come from, who his mother is, possibly siblings and hoping to be able to go further back beyond John Blackwell (William's father).

thanks amondg for the St Pancras info. However I found the baptism for Caroline Major and it states she was baptised as Presbyterian, Bridport, Dorset, England. I am having trouble getting access to St Pancras baptism/birth records from 1815 to 1822 to check for William
