Hi all,
David Ribbans married jun ¼ 1853 in Ipswich to, I suspect, Eliza Cheese.
I've now found a burial for a David Ribbans 14-5-1870 (died 8-5 aged 43 - Woodbridge Rd, Ipsw. St.Margaret) in Ipswich Cemetery.
Would anyone have access to the marriage registers and let me know the name of his father and anything regarding his wife, please?
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Alan

Looks as if you are right about the wife's maiden name as there is this birth of a child.

Not the marriage, but given his age at death, this looks like his baptism

Hi Groom,
Many thanks for this info.
I think I have found Eliza Cheese in 1851 census aged 32 born Ireland - this ties in niceley to the 1871 Ipswich St.Margarets census where she is a widow, born Ireland but one of the ages are out a bit as she is listed as 45.
Still cannot find them in the 1861 censuses.
