Title: Eliza Hughes-John Jones Marriage 1846 Ruabon.

I'm extremely curious about the Marriage of a John Jones to an Eliza Hughes said to have taken place at Ruabon St Mary 21/11/1846.

Banns show that Eliza was of the parish & John of the parish of Llangollen.

They were both of full age
John a bachelor -occ labourer-abode Trevor. Father Robert Jones a labourer
Eliza -a spinster-abode Cefyn lychan -father Edward Hughes occ Stonemason

So it seems Rosie.The alternative I am left with is even worse!The John Jones is not showing with his wife on any Census.He merely shows in two of the years with a daughter Hannah born in c 1854.
