In 1851 Henry Smart, 45, shoemaker, b City is living with his wife Isabella and their children in Stepney (HO 107/1552).
Isabella died in 1852.
In 1871 Henry, 65, cordwainer, b Aldgate is living with his new wife Ann Smart (RG10/473). He died in 1874.
I haven't found his second marriage (his father would be another Henry), if indeed he married; or his 1861 census entry. Can anyone else?

Children in 1851:
John, 20
Harriet, 19
Edwin, 17
Thomas (George), 15
Alfred, 14
Emma, 12 b Bethnal Green
(All other children b Stepney)
Alfred, Thomas, Edwin, John are married by 1861 (with no parents visiting). Emma (and probably Harriet, although her age is wrong) is living with Alfred.
No-one else living with Henry Sr in 1871.
I didn't give the names and I didn't think they would be helpful, but I should have said that they had left home.

Alfred actually marries in December 1861 - in Hoxton parish. Gives his address as Katherine St. Harriet Smart is a witness

Returning to this after a few years hoping that someone can spot him in 1861 (and/or find the marriage)

Since he's not turned up, he's probably in one of the missing districts
