I knew that Elizabeth had a daughter Elizabeth b. 1853 before her marriage 1863 to William Evans b.1837 Llanidloes, but whilst tidying loose ends i discovered her on the 1861cen, where she has another daughter Ann b. 1859 Swalwell Durham , ive tried looking for Ann but with no success, can anyone find what became of her ?

I can't find Ann after 1861 but I think these are the baptisms for her and her mother:-
Elizabeth Lewis baptised on 14th December 1834 in Llanidloes, daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth.
Ann Thomas baptised on 11th June 1858 in Whickham (near Swalwell), Durham, daughter of James and Elizabeth.

There's a family tree with her death 1861 Llanidloes.

However cross checking that with the GRO index gives an age of 71

dcbnwh, I cannot tie in the move from Lewis to Thomas ?, I tried looking for a marriage of Lewis to Thomas but no success, the baptism you found matches Ann, b. 1859 on the 1861 cen.

There is a marriage of a James Thomas to Elizabeth Lewis in Aberystwyth district in 1852 but I don't know if it is the right one.
From the GRO index, all of the children have the mother's maiden name as Lewis or Lewes.

I forgot to mention that the register for her marriage to William Evans gave Elizabeth's father as Isaac Lewis, who was also a witness.
