Post by: goldie61 on Friday 03 November 17 10:09 GMT (UK)
Help please with the bride’s ‘occupation’.
The same thing is written on the next marriage too - no easier to make out what it is though!

Many thanks

Agree with gloveress.

One branch of my in-law ancestors were glovers and gloveresses.  The lived in and around  Worcester, which I believe was once a glove-making area.

Yes, there's a hotel in Worcester that was once a glove factory. https://www.instantstreetview.com/@52.189645,-2.217738,127.01h,5.08p,1.52z

Gloveress was also a common occupation in the villages of south Worcestershire.

I am newish on here. I was wondering if you had investigated the manufacturing businesses in the area where she was living? You might get a clue as to her work from that angle.  :)
