Using Welshnewspapersonline I've been looking up names of Priory Street residents around the 1861 period and trying to find them on the 1861 Census. Haven't found one to date.

An example is Elinor Thomas, Maesycrygiau Arms, Priory Street. There are newspaper reports of her in Priory Street before and after the Census date (7th April) but I cannot find her on the '61 Census in St Peter, Carmarthen. She could be away from home, of course, but my lack of success with the others leads me to think Priory Street may be "missing".

Agreed - checked Census records on UK Genealogy. EDs 2-10 available, no sign ED1.
