If any of you were around in 1877 surely you can help me.
I have a birth record showing 20 George's Street.
Depending how Google it I get either Plunkett St or Sullivan's Quay.
Anyone have definitive answer?

Sinann, you truly are a gem.
We talked about this before but now, you have left no doubt:
"Its original name was George's Street, after King George I who reigned from 1698 to 1727."
Now to see if the numbers changed along with the names.
Thank you.

Thanks.
One or two is really all I need and if they can understand the question, might have the answer.
Barring that, Sinann will do.

Hi All,
Gt. Georges Street as shown on map was changed to Washington St.
link to google maps showing 20 Washington street.

Otherwise the original George's Street became Oliver Plunkett Street in the early 1920's
Nowadays # 20 is home to a store selling musical instruments.
