Title: 4 Brothers help Owen, Michael, Patrick, and Tom O'Loughlin Meelick Ireland
Post by: Shamrockgirl on Sunday 12 November 17 12:06 GMT (UK)
This is a photo of my Grandad 1900 -1996 left and his three brothers, the two in the middle died aged 30 and the one on the right was killed by a tractor aged 40. It is the only picture I have of them together. Could anyone help to restore it. The cross over Michael's head was for his memorial card. So any help would be wonderful.  Claire

Hi, ShamrockGirl,

Something strange happening with your image. I downloaded it then when I tried to open it to work on it this notice came up (in Photoshop Elements):

“Could not complete your request because of a problem parsing the jpeg data.”

I then saved the file to my desktop as a jpeg and was able to successfully open it in PSE from there. Will have a go at it later today but thought this may help fellow restorers who could be having similar problems with it - may be why you haven’t had any restores coming through as yet. (I'm putting a similar note on your other post which did the same thing.)

Cheers, Peter.

Wow I'm blown away thank you so much. My grandad far left died aged 96 in 1996, he would have loved this picture. You've made my day x

As has been said, my edition of Photoshop elements does not like this picture.
Just a quick try as McGroger has done an excellent job for you.

Brilliant ..thank you so much, it looks amazing. I love seeing them in colour. It's so sad that three died so young and one had ten children under 10.
