Maud Godfrey born 1920 West Ham married Thomas John O'Donnell in 1949.
I have all the information on Maud but I am looking for information on her husband Thomas John O'Donnell. The information I have so far is-
Thomas John O'Donnell born 21/7/1921 died 1985
from his marriage certificate he is a postal worker and his father was Thomas Henry O'Donnell.
1911 census Ontario Cottage 53 York Road South Farnborough
James O'Donnell 46 Labourer Athlone Ireland
Elizabeth 55 Chobham
Owen James Percy 18 Farnborough
Thomas Henry 14 "
Albert Godfrey 15 Nephew Chobham
Thomas Henry married Alice Naomi Addington Mar qtr 1919 Farnham
James O'Donnell married Elizabeth Godfrey Mar qtr 1891 Kingston Surrey
I know that Thomas and Maud had a son Michael but all parties are deceased.
Thomas John 1921-1985
I am looking for any information on occupation as a postal worker, any military service (possibility Navy), he was the chairman of the British Legion at Camberley for many years, but unable to find any records.
Any information on previous O'Donnell generations, I have not been able to find them before 1901.
Was Albert Godfrey a nephew or was he an illegitimate son?
I have all the information on Maud Godfrey.
Many thanks

It looks like the 1891 marriage parish register is available online.
Can you provide abode, occupation, witness(es) from that?
-
Where online is the marriage please?

Ancestry appears to have it. I have no paid subscription to any site.

This might be worth investigating
Baptism St Peter’s Athlone but it is 1864 May 29th
James to Thomas O’Donnell 67th Regiment and Harriett Curtis

Another baptism - Mary, April 1863
Mother looks more like Henrietta but both records are Latin

James and Elizabeth married in MARCH 1891 but I cannot see them on the 1891 census. I thought I saw something about post office employment records earlier but I cannot find it now?

There is a post here. Not sure if it can be seen by non-subscribers to Anc.

Thomas and Harriet O’Donnell went to live in Hartland, Devon where she came from. 1871 census shows them.
James is born Hartland but I can’t see a birth and in 1881 he is born Ireland.
Nothing really definite yet though.
