Title: What does "W B S France" mean insofar as a birth place on a census record?
Post by: Malivrag on Wednesday 15 November 17 19:33 GMT (UK)
In the 1871 census, John Notman's birthplace is given as W B S France. On the 1881 census, it's given as Paris. What does W B S refer to?
