Hi,
I have three possible siblings whose surnames is Lofts and their mothers maiden name is also Lofts.
John P Lofts born 1914 in Edmonton
Doris L Lofts born 1918 in Edmonton
Irene L Lofts born in 1921 in Edmonton
Running a search for a marriage of a Lofts to a Lofts is bringing up no results, short of ordering a birth certificate can anyone crack this any other way ?
Thank you

Why do you think there was a marriage at all?
If the woman LOFTS was unmarried, the childrens's surname and hers are the same.

The GRO Index Search shows:
LOFTS, JOHN PAUL -
GRO Reference: 1914 M Quarter in EDMONTON Volume 03A Page 1082
Where the Mother's Maiden Name is shown as "-"; this usually indicates an illegitimate birth.
The GRO have provided Mother's Maiden Name on almost all births from 1837 to 1916.

You have to register, but it's free to use.

Could be Florence in Edmonton from the free index to 1911 census.
Does have a sister a couple of years older, by the look of it. But this could be the relevant Lofts family for those births?

Said sister probably married in Edmonton district in 1919.
