Hi again :)
I can't see an obituary at the moment but there is a tree on Ancestry whih has marriage certificate for him and Pheobe and family photos. Unfortunately it's a private one so you'd need to contact the owner

Montgomeryshire Records boolket for the Parish of Llanywddyn gives:the reservoir started filling 1888 ..., and a headstone inscription:
Sandstone headstone and inscription (location shown on the map in the booklet)
In rememberance of Benjamin Stafford Thomas beloved son of T. O. and P. Griffiths, Bryn-y-groes, born Jan. 13 1887, died April 1988
Then gives an added note from the Registry Office: Thomas Owen GRIFFITHS m. Phoebe [spelt Phoebbee] MORALLEE. Short was my time, short was my pain, Short was my grief, Great is my gain.

Good find - that's the couple that's been identified earlier - more proof :)
Nothing so far in Obits from Welsh Newspapers or British Newspaper archives.

Hello! Gosh this is fun! His father was John Griffiths, his mother Jane. Thomas Owen Griffiths was my GGGrandfather, his wife was Phoebe Moralee, his daughter Phoebe Jane was my GGrandmother, her daughter Elizabeth, my grandmother. Phoebe Jane married Joseph Warburton in Liverpool in 1895, where they remained for the rest of life. My Grandmother moved south in 1924 to East Molesey Surrey where my mother was born. Which branch are you? Regards, Karen
