Title: Walsh Family in Bo'ness
Post by: Blarney St Beggar on Sunday 26 November 17 04:30 GMT (UK)
Michael Joseph and Agatha Walsh lived in Bo'ness and had a son (adopted) by the name of P****** . His father Michael was born in Cork City and moved to Scotland early in 1920 or so and married Agatha Hunter McDonald in 1929. She passed away in the early 80's. P***** birth record states he was born c1947 and never stayed in touch with any of his family. Any information is appreciated.

Can you please be more specific in what exactly you would like to find out as it's vague?

Can you also confirm ******** is deceased as RC has a no living persons to be named policy?

I'm confused...

Was ***** a surname or middle name?

Was he adopted out by Joseph & Agatha (their legitimate son) or adopted by them?

I don't see a birth for that name in that year for a surname of either Walsh or ****** & not in Boness?

If he's the one I do see he was born with a middle name of ******* but I can't make sense of your message, sorry!  :-\

"P**** was born c1947 and never stayed in touch with any of his family"

Does this relate to not staying in touch with Michael & Agatha?

Looking at the post it could be more specific indeed - my apologies.

P**** ******* is the individual I'm attempting to locate there is a good chance he's still alive as he would be about 70 YOA.

I'm confused...

Was ******* a surname or middle name?
Middle name, his birth Registry (not Certificate) has P*** ******* Walsh.
I'm confused...

Was he adopted out by Joseph & Agatha (their legitimate son) or adopted by them?

Adopted BY Joseph and Agatha

Annie, I hope this clears up the picture.

If you search the marriage index on SP you will find a likely marriage.
Using the information from that(plus location West Lothian) try http://www.192.com/ , you should find matches up to 2017 , you will have to pay for further info.

Skoosh,

The name was edited because of the 'no living persons' rule.

First off, I'd like to thank all who replied and educated me on the rules regarding what we post. All those suggestions made perfect sense indeed.

Secondly, my query can be put to rest. I have made contact with a member of the clan. To my surprise after over 40 years since we had any contact - we're on track again. The contact came as family member came across this post at RootsChat. So a big THANK YOU to all for your guidance and patience.

I still have a few more folks that I need data on so I will be sure to come back to the source which always shows results.  ;D ;D ;D

Thank you,
