I have recently registered the surname Sabey with the Guild of One-Name Studies. I have also started a Sabey website and a Y-DNA project with FTDNA.com. My aim is to bring together from around the world, all possible data relating to those who have held the unusual surname Sabey and its variants, and share it with those who are also researching or have any interest in the name. Consideration will be given to the puzzle of its origin and to find links between the branches through the Y-DNA project.
