Title: Jesse Smith
Post by: matron123 on Wednesday 29 November 17 08:01 GMT (UK)
Hello I am looking for help on a Jesse Smith (possibly Romany) I found him baptised in 1907 in Cambridge his father is Levi Smith. The only census I have found is the 1939. He married an Alice Elizabeth Ashton who's father was John in 1937 Cambridge. Alice at the time was living in a caravan on Coldhams Lane Cambridge and Jesse was living in Cottenham Cambs.
Thank you
Sheila

Are you aware that you can get a PDF copy of the entry for £6 from GRO instead of a certificate for £9.25

Hello, I am doing this family tree it is my hobby I only do it for friends I dont charge only for certificates. Michelle Butler asked me to do her husband Robert's family tree her Nana my neighbour her Nana is Bev Lambert. I have managed to do the Butlers but got stuck on the Smiths. I have Jessie marrying Alice E Ashton and it says Levi Smith is his father but there I am stuck. Cannot find Levi anywhere. Which Mr Reynolds did Alice know. I am related to the sweet Reynolds My gt grandfather John Reynolds was James Reynolds Brother but James went into the sweet maker and John went into brick laying . Thank you for getting in touch if you would like to help me I would be very grateful. Just one last thing I have just thought of was, Jessie's mother called Maria
