Hello
Charles Latham ( shown as Leathem ) died 8/7/1876 at Dunkerrin age 14 .( record on family search) .I went through the Dunkerrin genealogy site to find it.On his death certificate which I have it says son of postmistress. The fact that his mother had a job is interesting and came as a surprise.
I believe this to be Catherine Latham or Leathem (nee Rochford) but would like to confirm this and find out more about where she and her family lived in Dunkerrin and for how long. Is there a Directory ?
Her husband James was or had been a schoolteacher in Church of Ireland Schools and was still alive so strange he is not mentioned . At some point the family leave and move to Dunmanway Co Cork.
I visited the church in Dunkerrin ( church of Ireland) some years ago were Charles Richard Latham is interred but could not find a gravestone. I would also like to find his burial record . I got his date of death and name of the Church from a memorial card although on it he is said to be 16. I can not find any alternative death record for a Charles Latham/leathem dying 8/7/1876 Dunkerrin.
Grateful for any information .
Thanks
