Someone's going to get a shock if they are a researcher of either the Forde or McGeeon Family and find this record! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Arlene Foster & her DUP cronies would have a fit! ;D
Skoosh.

...especially if the researcher is a direct descendant!

If you only look at names, then I've got
3 4 earlier ones, in Yorkshire:
Alison Appleyard and Ann Williams - 31 December 1878
My great grandparents :o
Alison was born 1847. His cousin, registered as Allinson, was born the same year, and there is also another cousin Alison Williams registered 1859, plus his uncle Alison Radcliffe born 1828 - all are males.
My theory is that Alison and Allinson/Allison are named after their grandmother, Mary Allenson. I haven't yet worked out Alison Williams - but he is the brother of Ann, who married my Alison, and Alison Radcliffe is the uncle of Alison Williams :D :D

Years ago someone from overseas transcribed some Irish church records. Back in the 1800s 2 men apparently married each other (she'd merged 2 marriage records, leaving off both brides). Got rather annoyed when I pointed out what was an obvious error (I also had a copy of the register) ::)
