Agnes was born 21st March 1868 at Dolgonar, Penpont, her father William was the informant of her birth.

I think that is the real question. I really need to pinpoint him. Maybe he was another patient? Or maybe working close by? I'm in the process of trawling the records of the asylum - nothing pointing to any births there yet. But they are vast...
