Title: Looking for parents of Thomas Campion

Hi

I have a Thomas Campion baptised 1667 in Trumpington from the Cambridge Baptism Index. It shows the father's name a s Robert, but I cannot see a wedding in that era fro a Robert Campion. Any help would be much appreciated.

Robert Campion, year 1666, place Ramsey, Huntingdonshire, spouse Elz Petty

Ramsey a few miles north of Trumpington

Just looked at Campion baptisms in Trumpington -

FindMyPast transcription (from Bishop's transcripts)
Robert Campian, bap 15 Apr 1670, parents Robert and Margaret.

Cannot spot Thomas' 1667 baptism Trumpington and looking for Campion baptisms in Huntingdonshire for a Robert and Elz.

Because it is John on the transcript not Thomas  ;D

Hi all

Thanks for clarification that was dead end I have a wedding of Thomas campion and Mary Gilby in 1690 and I am still now looking for possible baptism for Thomas, Mary was baptised in Great Shelford in 1667.
