I am looking for the birth record of Minnie May Lindsey. Think she may have been born about 1920. Would like to know who here parents and siblings were. Any help would be appreciated.

This might be the family in 1930. Minnie N. Lindsey, born in 1920; mother, Clara Lindsey, a widow; one brother, Edgar L., aged 1 year 8 months.

Minnie married Thomas John Glen in Hunt Co, TX in 1935. Cannot find the marriage record, which would confirm when she was born.

There is a Social Security application for Minnie Mae Padgett, born 10 Mar 1920 in Greenville, Texas, died 22 Sep 1991, parents John W. Lindsey and Clara A. Carroll. Find a Grave has her son listed as Thomas John Glen (which could be a mistake, but worth looking into). https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/149941362

There's an image of that birth certificate here - https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939K-779Y-Z2?i=1929&cc=1803956 The father's residence and other information was not known. That may explain the discrepancy between the first name here and on the SS application.

This is spot on. She did marry Thomas John Glen in 1935 and Leroy W.Padgett in January 1947. Thank you. Just need to find out when and where John W Lindsey & Clara A Carroll married.

Looking at Clara on the 1940 census, she's listed as married but there's a 7 next to the M, which indicates that her spouse was not living with her at the time of the census. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KWKT-5HT

Thank you. I still cannot find cast iron proof of who the parents were of Minnie Mae Lindsey. Are you saying that John W Lindsey & Clara A Carroll were her parents.

That was the information that she gave to the Social Security Administration when she was applying for her Social Security number.
