Does anyone know if it is possible to get coroners reports for North County Dublin from 1918 and if so how you go about it?

Regards

Maybe a search in newpapers from the time would be more fruitful, the reason I say so is,I attempted to aquire reports from the 1970s and was told that it was a coroner's responsiblity to forward his records on retirement, this lead to problems as a coroner would amass a large quanity of records during his term of office, so in many cases they were only held for a certain time and then destroyed.

Basically a blind eye was turned to non compliance in Coroners reports not been forwarded to the relevant authorities on retirement.

I was successful in tracing the info I needed from newspaper accounts in Pearse St Library.
