Title: WW2 Navy records wanted.

Hi everyone, my nephew has asked me if I know where he could get his dad's service records from.

My brother in law is deceased and the only information I have is his full name, date of birth and the fact he served in the Navy.

Please can you tell me if it is going to be possible to acquire these records.......I don't know the best starting point.
