Title: Assistance with parts of baptism record
Post by: mcadamsd on Tuesday 26 December 17 17:53 GMT (UK)
The attached seems to fit my 2nd great grandfather.  I can read John but the following word "something son to John Dunbar and Anne Barber" is unknown.  Dates fit what had been found at Scotland's People.

The main date is 30 Sep 1797 but cannot read the date of baptism or location.  Possibly Keith?

Witnesses John Turner and John Barber but what follows their names is unreadable for me.

Thanks and all the best for 2018!

I googled killishment, and the first result is of another family from that address.

The first letter K is similar to the first word of your image which I presume is Keith.

Edit:  also try Killishmont and you get more results.

Killishmont looks like the name.  The linked thread seems to be a good fit and other references point to Killishmont being very close to Keith, Banffshire .

its also known as Killiesmont, which is to the north-west of Keith
