Please could anyone help with the marriage of Harry Holland (b.1874) & Hannah Mitchell (b.1872). They were married in 1895 in either Ashburnham or Ninfield.
Can you clarify exactly what it is you need?
If you are asking for a lookup in the parish records you need to know which church they married in and also provide details of the quarter to narrow down any search
The Hailsham RD covers Ninfield but not Ashburnham

Just to tie Stephen Holland up 1851//1871 Census he is born 1831 Catsfield.

Many thanks for your help Trish.
I was trying to establish who Harry's father was on his marriage certificate. They look like a rather complicated family.

I think as no one seems to be able to look it up for you buying the cert may be the only option.
Even so I think he may be illegitimate.
I cant find a Birth Reg for him under Holland.
The Holland time frame is very tight;
Rebecca/Stephens marriage is reg June 1873
Stephens death is reg March 1874
Stephen jnrs birth reg Dec 1874 and his death reg Dec 1875 age 1
So sorry cant be more help!

Thanks Trish. I wonder if he was never registered. Stephen could have been ill for a while before he died and they never got round to registering him. It was all a bit of a dramatic time for Rebecca I think.
-
Yes I agree it would have been a bad time for Rebecca.
