wrong surname ... try ROBERTS ... wd mach is abbreviation for Wood Machinist. He is there as such under ROBERTS in 1963 :)
JM (arrived home earlier this morning)

gosh I am having a bad run of it. You are correct - his name is ROBERTS and NOT ROGERS. Perhaps a senior's moment ;D
Thanks so much,

My sister and her husband, her husband's nephew and his wife, my husband's sister and her husband, and my husband and me - white Christmas in UK ....
It was too cold

Well majm you are a master researcher so thanks. I've promised my self to finish a line when every other time I have followed where my research led me :o
Christmas in the UK must have been superb. I too would love to be that cold. Must have been wonderful to have had Christmas lunch/dinner without being drenched in perspiration.
