This was found in a box in a Charity shop.
D Yaffe , 3 Progress buildngs , Halliwell Lane , Manchester on the back.
That`s all I know.

Another one in same box , no photographers name on this one.

I had a quick search and I think the photographers is still there.
I looked up F Bookbinder and sons and they were Bakers owned by Elkie Brooks’, the singer, family.

Looks to be the Whit Walks on both pictures.
The Bookbinder shop is possibly Cheetham Hill area - there is a bus stop for 59 bus which is on that route.

just go to youtube and type in whit walks procession there are quite a few there

It is quite possibly the Whit walks from St.Chad's at the bottom of Cheetham Hill Rd.
There was also a thriving Jewish community there,in fact that was the first area to be settled by Jewish immigrants, being so near Victoria Station.
The time seems to be the 1950's.
Viktoria.

The first picture doesn’t look like a Catholic procession to me - perhaps the local C o E - is that St Mark’s?

How interesting. I wonder if the person / family that the donations came from are in the photos somewhere.
it did have other mementos in the box and a Beatles leaflet dated 1963. This suggests that someone had died and there had been a house clearance. Usually the clearance firms keep and sell the more valuable items and either send the rest to charity shops or the tip.
Luckily this box ended up in a shop.
It is of no use to me - so I wonder if there are any Manchester Archives that might like it.
