Hi
You need to access Derbyshire Record catalogue, this ref CD/304 indicates that the original records
Have been put on to a CD by record office staff. There are loads of other records on this CD
This is direct connection

Scroll down to number 304, however if you click on this you are only directed to the ref of original Registers, no where does it suggest they are available on line.

CDs are available for public access through the Netloan computers on the Derbyshire Record Office site, through the "Derbyshire Record Office CD Collection" icon. http://calmview.derbyshire.gov.uk/CalmView/Record.aspx?src=CalmView.Catalog&id=CD

Hi
I am confused, as I understand it the Netloan system can only be accessed via computers in either the record office or Libraries. So there would appear to be access to DCC collection of Cds by visiting either RO or Library but they are nor available “on line”.
If you can access from home could someone please explain how we do this?
DCC have stopped many Newspapwes, Burnley collection etc being accessed from home due to lack of money!

I wonder, is the use of the wording "Derbyshire Record Office site" causing confusion? - i.e. some thinking it means the web site rather than the physical site at Matlock?

Netloan public access computers are only available in libraries or record offices, as you say "Derbyshire Record Office site" means the actual building.
