What do  the letters mean , they appears on quite a few of the names.

S & D stands for the people they voted for. S & D stands for Lord Sandon & Sir Howard Douglas
E and T stand for William EWART Esq., & Thomas THORNELY

Thornley;  Householders 3062 Freemen 969
Ewart;      Householders 3490 Freemen 1218
