There is a baptism on FreeReg for William NORTON, son of Jeremiah and Elisabeth 21 Oct 1806 Kings Lynn St Nicholas which might be him

Jeremiah NORTON and Elizabeth WRIGHT were married on 6 Oct 1805 at Kings Lynn, St Nicholas.

Hope this helps
Philip

Yes I do have that information but I thank you very much for taking the time to search for me!

I am specifically trying to trace information on their children who all seemed to work on ships. I am unfamiliar with how to proceed.

You are very welcome.
If you have details of his children, could you post them and we can figure out where to look to fill in the gaps.

I am wondering about how I would find more information on his shipping records. Where would I look next or how do I proceed from the information I found on Find My Past.
Sorry I wasn't clear in my first post.

Some (all?) of HMS Ganges' Ship's Musters and Pay Books are in the catalogue at Kew, but you'd need to visit or to get someone to do a lookup on site. Some guidance here:
