Hi
I have an ancestor Anne Shipp born 1636 in West Wratting parents John Shipp and Elzabeth. I have always assumed that the parents were John Shipp and Elizabeth Brand for whom I found a marriage, but most of the Family trees I see have her as the dr of John Shipp and Elizabeth Woollard, whose wedding I cannot seem to find ?

The only marriage I can find for John Shipp is the one to Elizabeth Brand in 1628. Can't see a baptism for Anne.

Many thanks, I find this all very strange, a lot of the information I gathered came fromsome 10 years ago, when i spent quite a bit of time at the Cambridgeshire Archives and I cannot remember where I sources each bit of information.
I have 3 other children from the marriage of John & Elizabeth Brand
John 1630
Elizabeth 1632
Dorothea 1635 all in West Wratting

The moral of the tale is always make a note of where you found the information - makes it so much easier if ever you want to check something.

Found them all they are in the Cambridge FHS Baptism Transcription. Anne is actually down as Annis which could be Agnes as well as Anne.
