Hello,
I'm having trouble deciphering the first four names; I think the third would be Francis, and fourth being William but I'm not sure. I'd appreciate any suggestions
TIA

Second one looks like a "Ch" and a "t" so abbreviation for Christopher perhaps?
Be interested to find out what the first one is ???
Can you say which are male and which are female?
-
Sorry should have snipped the ages column too:
Number 1 Puleston Male aged 50
Number 2 Puleston Female aged 45
Number 3 Puleston Male aged 21
Number 4 Puleston Male aged 20
Elias Puleston Male aged 15
Mary Puleston Female aged 13
-
Right maybe not Christopher then if number 2 is female!

I think it looks like Ch..t (possibly Ch.st), so maybe Christine/Christina, seeing as it's a girlie?
I think the first one could be another Will(iam); the flourish over the letters looks like the rest of the "W". If you look at it like that, then it is almost exactly the same as the "Will" lower down.

Yes I think you're right Karen, what looks like an accent is the flourish over the W that hasn't fully come out.

In 1851 she is Charlotte, widowed, sons Francis and William and daughter Mary are with her.
Her husband William appears to have died in 1846.
-
An Elias Puleston, son of William and Charlotte was baptised 23 December 1823 at Clive Parish Church, Shropshire.

You are all stars and I love you!
Thanks
