Right! as it has already been said you really need the marriage certificate to confirm this BUT!

We can't post the 1939 census but I did some digging and if you have access to it you can see this yourself

Its a very very long shot and you really do need the marriage certificate to prove it but it might be who you are looking for

Ok the key to this is William Arthur Owen born 23.12.1899 died 1984 Walsall son of Leah and John William Owen you need to look for him on the 1939 census and look at the other people he is with not just in his household

Remember that Brown can be spelt with an 'e' on the end as well (and you need good eyesight)
