Greetings!
I have been challenged learning the locations in the UK. I am hoping for some assistance in finding a place back in 1685 to early 1800's called "Primrose in Saddleworth, UK." This location has been found in some birth and death records of the family. A few streets/avenue's are named as such, but through the years where could this "Primrose" be?
The family records are located in St Chads, guessing that is in Uppermill, also in St Thomas's chapel. There seem to be two St Thomas's, so I need to figure which chapel they may have attended. All seem to be located in Yorkshire.
Thank you for your help! It is greatly appreciated. Gail

Welcome from me, too! ;D
From GenUKI:
"PRIMROSE, a small manufacturing hamlet in the parish of Rochdale, 2¼ miles from Dobcross."
See: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/WRY/Rochdale
And: http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Rochdale
Primrose is on the Supplementary Page, accessed from the Yorkshire page on Rochdale! :-\

Just for reference:
If you go to GenUKI Yorkshire pages, any Riding, you will find a link to "Where Is It In Yorkshire?": http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/YKS/YRY/Where
I find it very useful for finding which parish a particular place can be found. ;D

Be careful if you look at other photos in ‘related images’. They also refer to ‘Primrose Hill’, Camden Town which is not yours. ;)
