Title: Cyril David Dell
Post by: tazzie on Wednesday 17 January 18 21:40 GMT (UK)
Hi all......

Since 2014 as a family we've been looking at local village war memorials.
I have been using the 1939 on FindMyPast to help fill in gaps however ive lost someone.

Cyril David Dell born 3rd quarter 1891 Winslow reg district Bucks.
Father David mother Annie.

We have lots on him but are missing him after WW1. The last I have is 1917 when he is listed in his brother Arthur's probate. Arthur died on active service in Egypt in 1916 whilst a mechanic in RFC. Cyril is on the roll of honour for Nash Buckinghamshire his sister ran the New Inn . He is listed as a driver in  RFA

Can anyone see a death for Cyril please?

Many thanks.

He's a really hard guy to find. I have no clues.

A tree on Ancestry which has the service record of an RFA man 184372 Cyril Dell parents David and Ann Dell born Whaddon (6 miles from Nash)1892 (sic) has his death in France 10 Mar 1962.

For what it is worth.
