Arthur William Farmer was born 1891 England. Emigrated to Canada in 1919 with wife Hilda.
They had 2 children, Hilda born about 1920 and William Henry Farmer born 1922 Edmonton.
I would have expected to see them in the 1921 Canada Census, but cannot find them.
Any help much appreciated.

Havent found him on 1921 yet but see he is listed on the Alberta death index - Arthur William Farmer - death 21 November 1950 Edmonton - Registration Number 007-771

Is that Hilda May Farmer married name Ziegler ? There is an obituary for that lady - August 31, 1920 - July 23, 2013
Hilda was born in Edmonton, and moved with her mother to Liverpool, England. In 1946 she returned to Canada and later found employment in Kitchener at Mutual Life, her co-worker being Harry's sister...................etc etc

I do not see either of them on the Canadian 1921 census.
Just found this, is this the child Hilda, if so there may be a clue that certainly her and her mother didn't stay in Canada but moved back to England https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/114352086

I don't know whether you have Arthur's WW1 military record? It has been fully digitized courtesy of Library and Archives Canada. I thought I would post it in case you haven't seen it. See link below. There are 48 pages in total. It will probably be very slow to download.
