Mary Hopwood , birth was registered Dec qtr 1847 at Ruabon.
Can anyone find her baptism , her parents Richard and Elizabeth married in Ruabon Church so hopefully she will be in the PRs .
I`m hoping it will give her place of birth / or parents abode.
-
Can you find her on a census with a place of birth?
-
Nothing in Parish registers or Freereg.
PS - could they be Baptists?

Not sure about religion. I`m trying to confirm a story that she born in the Prince of Wales Inn in the Rhos district.
1851 Moreton Above, Rhos, all born Ruabon.
Elizabeth Hopwood widow 35 (looks more like 55 to me )
Edward Hopwood 27
Mary Hopwood 17

Had a look at my Rhos records and they don't start until 1853. I'll have another look with that age. When did Elizabeth and Richard marry - to save me looking it up!
PS - NW BMD certainly has that registration though!

Father was Robert Hopwood who was a coal miner and publican, who married Elizabeth Davies in 1844 at Ruabon.
Mary b 1847.
Richard b 1849
Catherine b 1851
I think the family I found may be Roberts mother and siblings .
Father was Richard b 1794 Mold and Elizabeth was Mears.
It`s not to find out the ancestry etc of this family, that is not important , but just to clarify that there was a pub called Prince of Wales in 1847.
Rather than ask for a search for the pub , I thought it best to give names and dates that link to it. I can`t see it named in the 1851 census .
There are 2 pubs of this name on the CFHS site, but no details of publicans and years.
Please don`t spend lots of time on this.

There's one listed in Hand Lane, Ponciau ( the former Prince of Wales)
https://www.wrexham-history.com/prince-wales-hand-lane-ponciau/
PS - And here:

(Think the Ponciau one more likely than the Cefn one!)
-
It's still there - at the end of the lane:
