Title: Tyringham cum Filgrove
Post by: mgeneas on Friday 19 January 18 18:53 GMT (UK)
In 1842 banns were called in Old, Northamptonshire for

Thomas PONTON widower and Harriet HOBBS of Filgrove (presumably Tyringham cum Filgrove) nr Newport Pagnell

The Northamptonshire Pontons are one of my families of interest, Thomas is not my ancestor so I am reluctant to spend the money to get the certificate.
But I would dearly love to know the name of Thomas' father to help piece this family together.
They don't appear much in parish registers as they were mostly nonconformist

If any you are going to Milton Keynes library or the county record office please could you take a look at this marriage and tell me the name of the father of Thomas?
