how does she fit into your tree and where did you find her d.o.b. as there are no Winnifred Hobbs births on FreeBMD reg in Hunts in 1902???

If this is the 1911 you refer to she is down as Winifred Hobbs Edwards

Since last post, she was born app 1905,may be adopted??daughter of George/Betsey, on 1911 census in Ramsey Hunts.Thankyou.
She is not described as daughter of George and Betsy in 1911 - she is described as "relative"
Is this her death reg ?

there is a tree online -it seems to be well sourced which gives the following information
Winifred Hobbs Edwards b 4 Jun 1901 Ramsey Hunts
Parents William Edwards and Sarah A Slote
It seems Sarah died about the time Winifred was born - which is possibly why Winifred went to live with George and Betsy Hobbs
I will have a look around and see if I can find more detailed information and maybe discover what relation Winifred was to the Hobbs family

Winifred Hobbs Edwards was the daughter of William Edwards and Sarah Ann Slote It seems Winifred Hobbs Edwards was born 4 Jun 1901 Ramsey but her birth was not registered until the next quarter
Maybe this because her mother died during or shortly after giving birth - her death was registered Jun qtr 1901 age 42
Maybe she went to stay with the Hobbs family because of her mothers death - or maybe she was just visiting at the time of the census - a young member of the Hobbs family was staying with William Edwards and his new wife on a later census (Frederick Harry Hobbs b 15 jun 1906 son of Frederick George Hobbs and Lucy Jane Clarke) So the Hobbs and Edwards family must have stayed very close
This is Winifred Hobbs Edwards family in 1891 and 1901 (at the time of 1901 census Winifred's mother would have been very pregnant with her

As Winifreds mother was Sarah Ann Slote and in one of your earlier posts you were enquiring about the Slote family -could the Hobbs connection be through her??
