Thank you Rosie. That's brilliant. Was hoping to find any children as I have a signed picture of Robert Hugh' s father Henry that I am trying to reunite with a family member.
-
He had a daughter Elizabeth Sutherland Lindsay born 31 July 1907 Los Angeles
Died 13 April 1992 Los Angeles
Look for Elizabeth Sutherland Stevens also on www.findagrave.com

If you look for Elizabeth S Stevens in the 1940 census with her parents that will give you her son's name

Thanks again Rosie, that's a great help. Although not looking promising for any descendants. Sadly there are also none in the UK. Although Henry had 15 children many didn't marry and those that did had no children or died in infancy Henry must have had all the child bearing genes :o. But at least I have the provenance to go with picture and it has been great fun researching this family.

I misread your post as not on laptop and rushing through your reply, sorry. Thought it said Elizabeth died 1922. And missed the son comment. Oops. So with a son it is looking promising

Wow RJ, thank you so much, that is fantastic. Been busy today so not had a chance to explore any further, what can I say, you are a star :D
My picture has a chance of a happy ending ;D

Here is pic of Henry Lindsay father of Robert Hugh. Just love it and feel I know his family like my own now, has been a wonderful challenge. Thanks Rosie and RJ for giving me what is possibly the final piece of the puzzle. Obviously I am assuming descendants of Robert are research nuts into family history (not always the case) and are on ancestry sites. Next challenge ;)

A lovely picture to treasure you never know maybe some one will be searching this family :)
